Since graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design in 1987, Dave Lowe has worn many artistic hats. He began his career as a freelance illustrator for Lowell House Publishing in 1988. Most recently, he has been illustrating for Singapore's I-Theater. A brief stint as a production assistant led to a 20 year career in television. In that time Dave has been art director and set designer on numerous series and specials for various major networks. Currently he is working on GSN's new interstitial series SNAP. Dave has also designed and created projects for some of television's most well known lifestyle experts and decorators seen on HGTV, DIY, Discovery and The Food Network. His imagination has been showcased on various children’s programs and is a keeper of the secret Nickelodeon slime recipe working on the hit game show: Brainsurge. As a custom prop maker Dave has created a large variety of items for TV, film, special events, print, trade shows, theater and private commissions. He also writes and draws the web comic: Para Abnormal, which features macabre mirth from a strange cast of characters every week. Dave lives in Los Angeles, California, where his love of Halloween decorating has made his home a popular place in the neighborhood every October.
